FAQs

  • Can I ship my boxes to the venue? 
    • We have limited receiving space at the hotel so please confirm with your CSM with details around how many boxes you would need to ship and store to ensure the hotel is able to receive the shipment.
  • How much does shipping cost?  
    • Sponsors will be responsible for covering any shipping costs to and from GamesBeat Summit 2023. Receiving pricing at Marina Del Rey Marriott is as follows: 
      • Boxes under 50 lbs: $10 each
      • Crates under 50 lbs: $50 each
      • Boxes over 50 lbs: $20 each  
      • Crates over 50 lbs: $75 each
      • Pallets: $175 each
  • What time/When can I set up? 
    • You can start setting up your booth on Sunday, May 21st between 3:00pm and 6:00pm PT.
  • What does an Ultimate VIP Pass vs. a Virtual Pass mean?  
    • Ultimate VIP Pass holders get full access to all areas of the summit, both in-person and virtually. Meanwhile, the Virtual Pass is only good for online access.
  • When can I tear down?
    • You can start tearing down your booth on Tuesday, May 23rd starting at 6:00pm PT.
  • Do I have to be in the booth the entire time? 
    • You don’t have to be in your booth the whole time, but we highly recommend having at least one person from your team present during peak times like breaks. Plus, you’ll get to network and chat with all the awesome people in attendance.
  • Is food included?
    • Yes, food is included! Get ready to enjoy some tasty bites while you’re here.
  • Are you providing dietary restrictive options to the menus?
    • We make every effort to provide dietary restrictive options on the menus for our guests. Make sure to fill out the dietary restrictions/allergies question during registration. We want everyone to enjoy the food and feel taken care of!
  • What’s included in my onsite activation?  
    • Each booth comes with an electrical power strip, wifi, a monitor, 1 six-foot table, and 2 chairs. The sponsorship level you choose will determine the type of space you receive. Get ready to set up shop.
  • Can I upgrade my booth with additional rentals and larger monitor?
    • Yes, you can upgrade your booth with additional furniture and monitor options. It’s up to you to cover any fees associated with the upgrades, and we’ll invoice you directly from the vendors. We’ll let you know which vendors we’re using once we’ve finalized everything.
  • Can I receive a wifi hardline?
    • If you need a dedicated hardline, let us know and we can get you in touch with the onsite WiFi provider. The hotel does have public wifi available for the conference.
  • Will a space be provided which we can reserve hourly for private meetings?
    • Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide an area for private meetings due to limited space at the venue. But who knows, maybe you’ll find a cozy corner somewhere and be able to have a chat.  
  • Can I have an extra VIP reception invite?
    • We’ve allotted a specific number of invites to each sponsor, but feel free to reach out to your CSM to see if any exceptions can be made. We’ll do our best to make it happen.
