Camille Ricketts is the green technology writer for VentureBeat. She reports on the intersection of money, policy and conservation in the energy, manufacturing and IT industries. Before joining the VentureBeat staff in 2008, she worked at Google in television and offline advertising tools.
A journalist by trade, Camille Ricketts started her career as a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, covering arts and culture in both London and New York. Her interest in technology writing stems from her years at Stanford, during which time she served as editor in chief of the Stanford Daily and received the Daniel Pearl Memorial Internship prize. Camille Ricketts holds a B.A. in women’s history from Stanford University.
