945 am Introduction Dean Takahashi, lead writer for GamesBeat at VentureBeat, and Matt Marshall, CEO and founder of VentureBeat, co-emcees talk about the Disruption 2.0 theme

10 am Keynote speech Steve Perlman, chief executive, OnLive. He will talk about his upcoming games on demand service and how it hopes to accelerate the pace of digital distribution for the games industry. OnLive will operate server-based games, where the processing takes place in server rooms, rather than on game consoles or PCs. In that sense, OnLive will let gamers instantly play high-end games on low-end equipment, which lowers the barrier to entry for consumers to play new release titles.

1030 am to 1115 am Panel The best disruptive game investment opportunities for 2010 and beyond. Game startups raised about $2 billion from 2007 through 2009. Some of those bets paid off as social games took off on platforms such as Facebook. Will the big funding rounds continue? Is there a new round of consolidation coming?
